Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Golf Course Starter/Ranger to enhance our members' and guests' experience on the course. In this dynamic role, you will manage tee times, coordinate play, ensure safety, and provide excellent customer service. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining smooth course operations. We are looking for afternoon marshaling coverage on weekends, which is our busiest time:

Friday:

9:00 AM•6:00

PM Saturday:

11:00 AM•6:00 PM or 12:00 PM•7:00

PM Sunday:

11:00 AM•6:00 PM or 12:00 PM•7:00 PM One of the perks of working at our club is the opportunity to play complimentary rounds of golf. We are looking for someone who is serious about the game and will be diligent in communicating with members and guiding them accordingly. If you are interested in additional hours, opportunities will also be available in our Golf Shop. Responsibilities Greet players warmly and assist with check-in procedures to ensure a positive first impression Manage tee sheet schedules, coordinate start times, and communicate effectively with players to maintain pace of play Enforce golf course rules and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all guests Monitor course conditions, address player concerns promptly, and resolve conflicts with tact and professionalism Provide information about the course, amenities, and upcoming events to enhance guest engagement Assist with guest services such as cart management, food service coordination, or event support when needed Uphold high standards of hospitality by delivering friendly, attentive service throughout each shift Requirements Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event management is highly desirable Lifeguard certification or lifeguard experience is a plus for safety responsibilities on the course Strong conflict management skills to handle disputes or concerns diplomatically Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining energy and focus Excellent public speaking skills for communicating with guests and team members effectively Experience working with children or in resort settings is advantageous Knowledge of food service or hospitality operations can be beneficial for supporting clubhouse activities Join us as a Golf Course Starter/Ranger and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences.
