Engage customers through product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while providing exceptional customer service. Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory in accordance with store standards. Support stock replenishment efforts by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and conducting inventory counts as needed. Assist in training new team members or supervising junior staff to promote a positive team environment and ensure smooth store operations. Provide friendly assistance with grocery store items, including product knowledge and recommendations to enhance the shopping experience. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are advantageous. Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math principles. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism through phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed.
