Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and satisfaction Assist shoppers in locating products, answering questions, and offering product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell complementary products and promote current promotions to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts, ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, replenishing shelves, and participating in stock counts Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers, including bilingual candidates Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth checkout processes Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in a retail environment is advantageous but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels exceptional customer experiences!
