We're looking for either one full-time team member or two part-time team members to join our crew. At Herbal Nation, we're not a corporate chain, and we're not interested in treating employees like numbers. We're a small, family-owned business that believes in investing in good people, creating opportunities for growth, and building a team that enjoys coming to work every day. Who We Are- Herbal Nation has been serving Washington cannabis customers since 2014. We were the second recreational retailer to open in the greater Seattle area and the first in Bothell—making us Bothell's original pot shop. Over the years, we've built a reputation for exceptional customer service, fair pricing, and a commitment to education. We proudly serve both recreational and medical customers 365 days a year, and we believe knowledgeable staff create the best customer experience. Unlike many larger retailers, we're still independently owned. Our team is small, close-knit, and genuinely cares about one another. We work hard to maintain a positive culture where employees are respected, supported, and given opportunities to grow. What We're Looking For- We're seeking people who are looking for more than just a temporary job. We prefer candidates interested in growing with us long-term, ideally at least one year or more. Availability is extremely important. We need team members who can work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, opening shifts, closing shifts, and occasional on-call coverage when needed. Our store is open daily from 8:00 AM to midnight. While we value flexibility, we are currently prioritizing applicants with strong evening and weekend availability. What the Job Is Really Like- This is a customer service position first and foremost, but it's also a physically active role. Our shop may be smaller than many retailers, but there's always something to do. Team members spend their shifts helping customers, stocking products, receiving inventory, cleaning, organizing, and keeping the store running smoothly. You'll spend much of the day on your feet, moving throughout the store, lifting inventory, and staying productive even during slower customer periods. Responsibilities Include Checking IDs and maintaining strict compliance standards Greeting customers and helping them find products that fit their needs Educating customers on products, responsible consumption, and cannabis regulations Building lasting customer relationships through knowledge and service Processing transactions accurately and handling cash Maintaining inventory, restocking products, and organizing displays Receiving and preparing incoming shipments Answering phones and assisting customers with inquiries Following all store policies and Washington State regulations General cleaning and maintaining a professional store appearance Experience- Cannabis industry experience is appreciated but not required. What matters most is a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and genuine curiosity about the industry. We provide extensive training and place a high value on education.
