Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Clerk and become the face of our customer-focused environment! In this energetic role, you'll engage with shoppers, assist them in finding the perfect products, and create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to the vibrant energy of our store. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail expertise while delivering exceptional service every day. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance with product selection Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed decisions Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cash handling duties following store procedures Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and organizing backroom supplies Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support the store's grocery or retail sections by applying retail math skills for pricing and promotions Engage in basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, and sales reporting Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures is a plus Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills to clearly convey product information and assist customers confidently Experience in merchandising, stocking, or grocery store environments will help you excel in this role Ability to demonstrate products confidently through demos or explanations to enhance customer engagement Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
