Job Description
We are hiring for 1 part-time clerk for the Gift Shop at St. Anne's Hospital in Burien for 2-3 days a week Th-F, with occasional coverage at our st Joseph location. You should bring a friendly, welcoming attitude with the ability to work with limited supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Maintain an organized and clean sales floor
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays
- Assist with inventory management and restocking
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Place re-orders
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Technical sales experience, such as electronics or jewelry, is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
