Job Description
Job Overview Local Roots Everett 128th is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team. As a key member of our retail environment, you will assist customers in selecting products, provide education on cannabis offerings, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle retail transactions efficiently. Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or other customer service jobs is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively. Open availability is a requirement. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs Conduct product demos and educate customers on product features and benefits Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain proper merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and stock rotation Ensure the retail space is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Adhere to all i502 related compliance rules and regulations. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse customers Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling and customer engagement strategies Bilingual language skills are preferred to better serve our diverse clientele Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Basic math skills for cashiering and retail operations Familiarity with grocery store or retail environments enhances understanding of fast-paced sales settings
