Job Summary The Outside Sales Associate is responsible for conducting sales calls in the field via face-to-face, email, phone and virtual interactions with both potential and existing customers. The Outside Sales Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities General Duties:
Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO's customers to cultivate repeat business Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees Read and comply with ECCO's Human Resources Policies and Procedures Read and comply with ECCO's Health & Safety Policies and Procedures Assist in the success of ECCO's Safety Program with suggestions, by setting a good example, and by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work
Sales Duties:
Contacting new customers and developing new, profitable HVAC business Cultivate Customer relationships to increase customer experience Communicate product and market opportunities to Branch leadership in order to maximize customer experience Attend and respond to all queries, disputes, etc. promptly Generate timely, accurate quotations through the branch inside support team, balancing competitive pricing with maximum profitability to grow market share. Maintain electronic records of all sales leads and/or customers while expanding and maintaining a customer database Conduct business in a moral and ethical manner Forecasting, developing, maintaining and evaluating sales strategies Meet personal, branch sales and expense budgets Take sales training and product knowledge courses as recommended or as deemed necessary Attend industry trade shows approved by ECCO Supply management Keep the company's CRM current daily, following established procedures. Participate in annual branch physical inventory Report and provide continuous market feedback to the inside sales team and management Due to the dynamic nature of this Company, the duties and responsibilities may reasonably change from time to time.
Qualifications:
5 Years of outside sales experience in the building materials industry or an equivalent combination of two years of HVAC sales, education, training, and experience Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Residential HVAC systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive demeanor and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritize important tasks and meet deadlines Work with a high degree of integrity and a sense of urgency A current driver's License and clean driving abstract High school diploma or equivalent Why Join ECCO For more than 60 years, ECCO has been committed to excellence in manufacturing, distribution, and customer service.
