In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring a well-organized shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for soccer and the ability to engage customers effectively about soccer. Perfect second job or weekend job. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering. Demonstrate products to customers, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Upsell products by understanding customer needs and providing tailored recommendations. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and inventory management. Ensure compliance with store policies while delivering outstanding customer service. Work with soccer players at community events promoting the store and the production company to drum up new customers Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store setting is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential. Basic math skills are necessary for accurate transactions and inventory management.
