Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Budtender, where you'll be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for our customers seeking cannabis products. In this energetic role, you will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients on product options, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help customers find the right products to enhance their well-being, all while maintaining compliance with state regulations and store policies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a dynamic retail environment dedicated to quality and community. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs, providing detailed product demos when appropriate Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Educate customers on product effects, usage, and safety guidelines to promote responsible consumption Upsell additional products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales goals Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves regularly, and ensure product availability for customers Conduct inventory counts, stock replenishment, and monitor product expiration dates to uphold store standards Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments Supervise junior staff or trainees as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in retail or grocery store settings Supervising experience in retail environments is highly desirable Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, inventory management, and sales reporting Strong communication skills with bilingual proficiency preferred to serve diverse customer bases Skilled in customer service with a friendly demeanor and active listening abilities Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices Experience conducting product demos and upselling strategies effectively Familiarity with phone etiquette standards for professional communication Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts Prior retail sales experience in a grocery store or similar setting is advantageous This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about wellness products who thrive in fast-paced environments.
