$24•25 per hour Position Overview Marymoor Live Amphitheater is seeking professional, attentive, and customer-focused individuals to join our Safety Team for the upcoming concert season. Safety Team Members play a critical role in creating a secure, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all guests, artists, and staff. This role blends customer service with patron safety and security responsibilities, requiring strong communication skills, situational awareness, and the ability to respond calmly under pressure. Key Responsibilities Guest Screening & Entry Operations Conduct patron checks, bag checks and personal item screenings in accordance with venue policies Monitor and manage entrance gates to ensure safe, efficient guest entry Verify tickets and assist with access control procedures Enforce venue rules regarding prohibited items in a respectful and consistent manner Ushering & Crowd Management Serve as seating ushers, guiding guests to appropriate sections and assisting with wayfinding Monitor crowd flow throughout the venue, including aisles, exits, and high-traffic areas Help maintain clear emergency egress pathways at all times Provide general assistance to guests, including answering questions and resolving minor concerns Actively observe for safety hazards, suspicious behavior, or policy violations Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies Collaborate with supervisors, medical personnel, and local emergency services when necessary Complete incident reports with clear and accurate documentation Customer Experience Serve as a visible, approachable presence for guests needing assistance De-escalate conflicts using professionalism and sound judgment Support a positive concert experience while maintaining safety standards Represent the venue with professionalism at all times

Qualifications Required:

Must be at least 18 years old Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-energy or stressful situations Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours) Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred:

Previous experience in security, event staffing, guest services, or related roles Experience with crowd management or large-scale events Conflict resolution or de-escalation skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the venue for long periods Ability to bend and lift up to 20 lbs as needed Visual and auditory awareness to monitor surroundings effectively Outdoor music venue with exposure to loud noise, large crowds, and changing weather conditions Schedule Expectations Flexible, event-based scheduling. Shifts may include early arrival for preparations, training/briefing meetings and late departure Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled events.
