Job Description Nirvana Cannabis Company - Richland is a Washington State I-502 recreational marijuana retail shop. At NCC, we are committed to providing a professional and robust cannabis shopping experience. Our budtenders are knowledgeable and can recommend a strain that suits the customer's need. We are active and contributing members to the communities at all our locations. At NCC, we pride ourselves in offering the largest selection of premium cannabis products in Washington. Our cannabis partners give us the ability to provide a dynamic offering of products at multiple tolerance and price levels to best suit our consumers. Arranged from the best offerings local Washington growers and producers can provide, NCC is proud to partner with up-and-coming businesses as well as long-established names in the industry. Required Qualifications 21+ years old and must have a valid ID Must be authorized to work in the United States Provide excellent customer service Maintain a positive and energetic attitude in a fast paced and evolving work environment Has basic computer use experience Goal oriented and career minded Punctual Has reliable transportation Be able to lift 50 pounds Experience Cannabis industry related experience is preferred, but is not required. We will provide paid training. Job Duties Include, but are not limited to: Provide excellent customer service Uphold professional and courteous interactions with customers, co-workers, and visitors Be active in communicating with leads/supervisors/ managers when necessary via telephone, email, and GroupMe Recommending and selling marijuana and other related products Be pro-active in self-educating, learning, and retaining knowledge on the products we carry Maintain knowledge of state and federal laws that are pertinent to the cannabis industry General boutique retail functions, such as: using POS to ring up sales, accurately count back change Check ID's accurately per WSLCB standards Inventory control related functions, such as: organizing, restocking, counting products Be pro-active in problem solving and troubleshooting when necessary, such as: contacting POS vendor for assistance Maintaining shop cleanliness and presentability General cleaning duties as required and needed Other duties as assigned or needed Benefits Paid training Job type: full time
