Job Description
We are a small shoe and clothing boutique in the heart of Ballard. Established in 2002, we provide a fun retail environment to engage with customers. We sell shoes, clothing, accessories, gifts and home goods.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and engaging potential customers in conversations.
- Retrieving merchandise from the stockroom. This is a physical job and requires going up and down stairs.
- Ringing up customers, responding to emails, answering the phone and any other customer concerns.
- Keeping the shop tidy, clean, organized and re-stocking merchandise.
- Must be able to multi task.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing accessories, clothing and shoes
- Demonstrate product knowledge and explain features and benefits to customers
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in shoes and/or small boutiques
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment.
