Store Lead

Lowrider Cookie Company is looking for a part-time Store Lead for our Central District shop. We are looking for someone who loves cookies, will be able to provide an excellent customer experience, meet sales and profitability goals, and manage staff effectively. We offer consistent schedules so you don't have to worry about your schedule changing every week. Weekend availability is required.

Benefits:

$22.75/hour base pay plus $4/hour tip minimum guarantee 22-25 hours/week 50 hours of paid time off - available after three months of employment Paid sick time - starts accruing immediately. General Responsibilities:

Ensuring the store is consistently providing excellent products and service, and that the environment is inviting, clean, and well stocked. Building a well-developed and high performing team that works together collaboratively and upholds our values. Promoting a positive staff morale

Specific Duties:

Perform front counter tasks during scheduled shifts: serve cookies, provide an outstanding customer experience, operate point of sale, stock products, and clean store. Ensure clean, attractive, and inviting store environment. Publish employee schedule every month and ensure all vacation time is covered in advance. Be your staff's main point of contact for all questions and concerns. You are responsible for covering, or finding coverage, for last minute staff call-outs. Maintain vendor relationships and keep products in stock by ordering products or communicating store inventory needs to Bakery Department. Troubleshoot small repairs and work with the owner toward a resolution on larger repairs. Maintain safety of store environment and ensure proper handling and storage of food products. Team Development & Education Supervise a team of cashiers, and hire when needed. Demonstrate leadership in customer service, front counter management, and organization. Facilitate communication between cashier team and work out any issues towards resolution. Maintain complete knowledge of all cookies and retail products, promotions, and policies and ensure education of cashier team. Promote positive staff morale and relationships with staff members Desired Characteristics Passionate about cookies, great work ethic and desire to be at Lowrider Cookie Company Positive attitude, great communication, and strong leadership skills.
