Weekend Furniture Shop Associate Lead Big Whale Consignment Seattle, WA Job Details Part-time Up to $27 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Customer inquiry handling Cash register Attention to detail Retail store experience Furniture sales Full Job Description Big Whale Consignment is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Weekend Shop Associate to support in-store operations, customer service, and sales. This role is ideal for someone who excels in retail, working with customers, operations and sales. Schedule (Required)
Saturday:
11:30 AM - 6:30
PM Sunday:
12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Weekend availability is required; this position is Saturday & Sunday only. Compensation $24/hour to start during training $27/hour after one month, following training and performance evaluation Responsibilities Cashiering and point-of-sale interactions Providing friendly, attentive customer service Drive in-store sales and address customer questions (training provided) Supporting basic social media ads and promotional content (training provided) Maintaining shop appearance, including: Cleaning and sweeping Organizing and general upkeep Supporting day-to-day shop operations as needed Must be able to lift 75lbs Ideal Candidate Professional, dependable, and consistent Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team Strong communication and customer service skills Interest in operations and sales Prior retail or customer-facing experience (1-2 years) required To Apply To apply, submit a cover letter and updated resume to the shop email.
