Job Description

Retail Nursery Customer Service We are accepting resumes for part time and full time Retail Nursery Customer Service positions. At McAuliffe's Valley Nursery we pride ourselves on providing a high level of customer service from greeting our visitors, to offering recommendations and support throughout their shopping experience. The pace can change throughout the day and from season to season. Applicants should be adaptable to the changing rhythms that occur in the nursery industry, while working together and staying calm, cheerful and enthusiastic. The nursery is a wonderful place to work for its ever-changing seasons and opportunities for creative expression. We pride ourselves on providing a high level of customer service.
Position Requirements:
Love of plants & people. Must be available to work weekends. Basic Knowledge of plants and/or a desire to learn. Strong Customer Service Skills. Retail and Cashiering (Cash/Card/POS) experience. Ability to stand for long periods of time. The ability to lift 35 lbs. Assist in unpacking, pricing and restocking of decor and plants. Answer customer inquiries about store hours, locations of items, or direct them to knowledgeable staff for plant advice. Have initiative, able to prioritize, adapt to changing tasks, and works well without direction. Maintain a clean and organized environment in retail space, storage and common areas.
