Key duties include operating POS systems, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and promoting loyalty programs, with a focus on product knowledge in hardware, paint, plumbing, lawn and garden, or electrical.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service (S.A.L.E.S Process): Proactively greet and assist customers to find products, ensuring a positive experience.
Store Operations:
Stock shelves, receive new inventory, create displays, and maintain a clean store.
Sales & POS:
Accurately process transactions, handle cash/cards, and promote Ace Rewards.
Product Knowledge:
Develop expertise in hardware, tools, paint, plumbing, and electrical to assist with DIY projects.
Safety & Security:
Maintain a safe environment and follow loss prevention procedures.
Job Requirements:
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods (6-8 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs.
Communication:
Strong verbal skills to interact with customers and team members.
Reliability:
Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
