About us Lizzy's Jewelry & Loan is a small, family-owned Jewelry store and Pawnshop with three stores based in Marysville, WA. We are customer-centric, social, and creative. You will be challenged daily while engaging with customers and fellow employees in a supportive environment that includes on-the-job training, a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and business casual work attire. Our company is seeking a creative Jewelry Sales Associate to help us buy, sell, and loan high-end jewelry and coins. As a Jewelry Sales Associate, you will be selling various types of jewelry products, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. We expect you to be an excellent communicator with strong negotiation and sales skills. Additionally, you must have a sense of fashion and a passion for helping customers find the right jewelry item at the right price. Our company sells high-end AND second-hand jewelry, so we would love it if you had some knowledge of jewelry materials, styles, and trends. Ultimately, your role will be to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases and provide excellent customer service in a friendly environment. Education Level:

High School Diploma/ GED Required Responsibilities Greet customers with enthusiasm and create customer relations Work with teammates towards store goals, creating a positive working atmosphere, and supporting each other to combine individual strengths to enhance team performance Foster life-long emotional connections with customers by clienteling Provide product knowledge, features, and benefits to all customers when presenting merchandise Advise customers on quality, cuts, and value of jewelry and gems and assist in selecting mountings and settings for gems Answer telephones Attend company meetings Operate point of sale (POS) and take payments Inspect and clean customer's jewelry Provide estimates for jewelry and watch repairs Follow receiving and processing procedures Display merchandise and jewelry in cases Work with the manager on social media platforms for marketing purposes Help with shipping of online purchases Perform business opening and closing procedures Perform basic housekeeping, such as vacuuming carpet, cleaning display surfaces, cleaning merchandise, and washing windows Maintain safety and security of location by following all Loss Prevention and Security policies and procedures Complete case counts
