Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and provide tailored product recommendations in areas such as lawn care, horticulture, and floral design. Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about gardening tools, landscape maintenance supplies, and seasonal merchandise. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and refunds while maintaining accuracy in retail math calculations. Restock shelves, organize displays, and merchandise products to maximize visual appeal and ensure inventory is well-maintained. Support customers with e-commerce orders by providing information on online products, processing pickups or returns when applicable. Maintain a clean and organized store environment by stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and ensuring proper signage is in place. Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication skills, multilingual support if applicable, and a positive attitude that promotes a welcoming shopping experience. Skills Strong knowledge of gardening, landscaping, floral design, and horticulture practices to assist customers effectively. Experience with retail sales processes including cashiering, cash handling, POS operation, and retail math accuracy. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs. Organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently and execute merchandising strategies that attract shoppers. Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness while standing or walking for extended periods. Familiarity with customer service principles to resolve issues promptly and enhance overall satisfaction.
