Guest Relations Associate Apostle Islands Area Campground is Looking for a Guest Relations Associate to Join our Team! This is a part-time/full time, seasonal position (20-40 hours per week) with varying shifts.
Shift possibilities include the following:
9:00 am
- 6:00 pm Noon
- 6:00 pm _________________________________________________________________________________________________ 9:00 am
- 5:00 pm after Labor Day (Monday
- Thursday) 9:00 am
- 6:00 pm after Labor Day (Friday & Saturdays) June through Mid August
- 20-30 hours per week (varied shifts as listed above) Mid/End of August through October 5th
- 40 hours per week Successful candidates must be available to work 2 weekends in a month or more if needed .
Must be available to work through October 5th (this is the last day the campground is open). The Guest Relations Associate is responsible for providing quality guest services that include guest check-in and check-out as well as retail services in our camp store. Essential customer service standards must be used at all times: eye contact, smile, speak first, engage in polite conversation, use the guest's name whenever possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Check in and out camp guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner Answer incoming phone calls. Return messages related to reservations Answer questions promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information is provided to guest Cashiering Serving ice cream in camp store Balance out cash drawer at end of shift Knowledgeable of local area, services, attractions, and events Monitor site availability throughout the day Perform all other duties as directed by immediate supervisor Other department related duties if becomes necessary Contact other departments (via walkie-talkie) such as housekeeping, maintenance or food services to ensure that campground services are coordinated to provide the best guest satisfaction

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, guests, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure while cashiering.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
