Senior Retail Store Team Member Location

  • Yes Summary of Role The Senior Retail Store Team Member will be responsible for daily operations and accountability for procurement, storage, stocking, shelf placement and sales of branded products in a single retail location.
They will work closely with the Retail Supervisor to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive increased sales and superior customer service. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for employees and a welcoming and enjoyable store environment for customers and guests. This is a safety sensitive role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide leadership in daily functions of the retail store, troubleshooting and facilitating customer service best practices. Ensure all safety and security systems are functioning and notify Retail Supervisor or Retail and Food Service Manager when items are not functioning properly. Collaborate with Retail Supervisor to schedule staff and ensure shifts are covered appropriately. Follow guidance of Retail Supervisor to ensure accurate retail inventory and pricing. Ensure staff are properly executing the processes of ordering, receiving, transfers, inventory, and sales at retail location. Ensure accurate information and fulfillment of orders for local wholesale customers. Coordinate with Retail Supervisor on cost of goods and pricing related to all product categories and customer levels. Oversee the inventory management and billing of purchases from Corner Stores kiosks in CROPP facilities. Load and unload product from trucks to back stock and merchandising areas. Submit and record daily retail store and café deposits to maintain accurate balance sheet. Maintain stability and reputation of the store by maintaining a clean, safe and well stocked store. Ensure all customer facing areas are well merchandised Ensure compliance with policies, safety procedures and fair employment practices. Make recommendations on product offerings, efficiencies, practices and policies. Process and maintain all invoicing and ensure proper coding to hand off to AP teams for remittance. Working with AP teams to ensure all accounts remain in good standing.
  • Work with CROPP staff to coordinate and confirm information regarding product deliveries of Organic Valley Product to the
  • CROPP Retail Store location.
Assist in training and onboarding of employees on POS, procedures, etc. Receive incoming products and supplies, verify quality and quantity of all incoming shipments. Transfer and post product into Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Understand SKUs and pricing strategies for products in the Retail Store, adjust as required. Additional Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with appropriate CROPP stakeholders on store needs. Work with Retail Supervisor to maintain normal store operations and hours. Execute and delegate sale of product from trade partners including Kehe, UNFI and local producers that complement the cooperative product line. Maintain service to Employee Buying Club members. Maintain process for routine stocking of all items in the retail display coolers and freezers. Maintain information related to internal Customer Service and Category Management programs. Seek to continually improve processes for the retail store and staff. Communicate store needs, issues, or trends to the Retail Store Supervisor Perform back-up duties for Retail Store Supervisor as assigned. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Retail experience required. Exceptional attention to detail required. Reliable and punctual Demonstrated leadership abilities Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal. Ability to work in both Cashton and La Farge Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing work environments and demands. Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in varying temperatures and working conditions. Ability to resolve complex issues independently. Base hourly wage range : $21.37

91 per hour The typical hourly wage for a new hire is $21.37 hourly. This hourly wage range is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly wage compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the hourly wage range and hiring at the maximum of the hourly wage range is not typical.
