Kettle Range Meat Company is a growing, independently owned specialty food shop specializing in locally raised, locally processed farm-to-table beef, pork, chicken, and lamb. In addition to our high-quality fresh meat, sausage and smoked products, Kettle Range has developed a popular gourmet carry-out meal program consisting in convenient and healthy heat-and-eat entrees and sides, as well as Blue Apron-style meal preparation kits. Kettle Range is looking for fun, independent individuals with a can-do attitude and a love for local, gourmet, farm-raised products to work in our retail shops. Position Summary As a Team Member, you will be the face of Kettle Range. Our small Retail Team is highly focused on providing our customers with an exceptional shopping experience. We work hard together to make sure that our customers get to know "their" farm-to-table butcher, trusting us to provide healthy, local, and delicious meats and other products for their family. Your most important job will be to provide outstanding customer service to all the customers that walk through the door. You will also be responsible for stocking products in an interesting and aesthetically pleasing manner, ensuring that our shop is clean and appealing, and working with the rest of the Kettle Range to further our growth. Two positions are available, one part-time (20-30 hours/week) and one-full time (30-40 hours/week). There is the potential for growth as the company grows.

Job Functions:

Work with our customers to provide the best possible shopping experience in a small, niche retail shop; Ensure that the Retail Shop is always clean, organized, and welcoming; Accurately handle cash and sales receipts so that the daily business can be reconciled each day at the close of business; Package, label, and stock a large variety of different products and ensure that the Retail Shop's signage is easily understood and visible; Support the other teams within the company in the execution of their responsibilities.

Job Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a people person who loves to interact with a diverse group of customers to guarantee that they have an exceptional shopping experience; You should have a desire to learn about the world of farming, and craft butchery; You should be dependable, responsible and a solid team player; You should have the ability to work a varied shift that includes evenings, Saturdays, and holidays; You should be a good communicator, with team members and customers; You should be able to maintain a calm and comfortable composure in fast-paced environments.
