Retail Sales Associate and shop Helper

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will engage with customers, assist them with product selections, and handle transactions efficiently. You will also be responsible for processing inventory and fresh flowers. Cleaning and organizing will be a big part of your job here at Firefly. We are looking for a paid intern type of deal for someone who'd love to learn the ins and outs of the floral business. We here at firefly have a combined 40+ years in the business and would love to pass down our knowledge to someone eager to learn and quick to take on their own responsibilities. We share a love and passion for everything we do here and would love to welcome a new member to our team! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Operate cash registers and POS systems for processing transactions accurately. Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain an organized sales floor by restocking shelves, arranging displays, and keeping the store tidy. Handling buckets and water with bleach and other chemicals. Sweeping and Mopping Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and track sales performance. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience. Experience Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic math skills is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to learning about products and services offered in the store.
