PART TIME SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE

For over 60 years Surplus Outlet has been a locally family owned store that sells heavy duty clothing and footwear. Are you interested in learning, and have knowledge of footwear and clothing used by outdoorsmen or construction work? Are you outgoing, self motivated, honest, polite, and like helping customers? Surplus Outlet offers a small, stable, friendly family like atmosphere, and we have an opening for a long term employee that would like to grow with us. Three of our staff of approximately six have been here for over 15 years each, and employees that have left have come back to work here again. We are looking for a friendly, motivated person who can effectively connect with, and sell footwear and clothing to our construction worker and outdoors type customers.

HOURS/COMPENSATION

Rotating weekends. Upon successful completion of training and evaluation competitive pay is based on experience, responsibilities, merit, and duration of employment. Plus bonuses, legal holidays off, store discount, paid uniform allowance, and a work schedule that is done monthly so you can plan ahead. Please apply in person. QUALIFICATIONS

• Sales in work and hunting footwear, clothing, and camping products. (ability to stand for extended periods required)
• Processing transactions and charges via point of sale, credit card, and corporate purchase orders. (moderate computer knowledge required)
• Receiving inventory, stocking shelves, pricing merchandise. (use of stairs required, lifting required 10-30#)
• Maintaining a clean and orderly retail area.
• Footwear sales experience desirable.
• Must be self motivated.
