Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive exceptional shopping experiences. In this energetic role, you will actively engage with customers, assist them in finding the perfect products, and ensure the sales floor is inviting and well-organized. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while working in a fast-paced, vibrant setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to meet their needs. Assist customers with product selection, product demos, and answering questions about features and benefits. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Upsell products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory. Conduct stock replenishment, inventory checks, and organize back-stock to support smooth store operations. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support cashiering duties with basic math skills for transactions and returns. Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers to maximize sales opportunities. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure a seamless shopping experience for all customers. Requirements Prior retail sales experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations. Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, setting up displays, and organizing inventory efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in a similar retail environment is advantageous. Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills in person and over the phone. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings.
