Retail Sales Associate - Sewing & Quilting Store Join Our Team at KK Sew & Vac in West Bend! Are you friendly, dependable, and passionate about helping people? Do you enjoy sewing, quilting, crafting—or are you excited to learn? We're willing to train the right person. All you need is a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. For more than 40 years, KK Sew & Vac has proudly served the sewing community. We specialize in BERNINA and Baby Lock sewing, embroidery, serger, and longarm machines, along with education, service, and ongoing support. Our customers value expert guidance and a welcoming environment where they can learn, create, and grow in their craft. We're looking for a Retail Sales Associate to help create an exceptional customer experience while supporting our growing business. What You'll Do Welcome and assist customers with fabric, notions, accessories, and machine purchases Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring retail environment Assist with classes, events, and general store operations Learn the BERNINA and Baby Lock product lines to confidently guide customers in selecting the right machine for their goals and experience level Build lasting relationships with customers before, during, and after their purchase Manage the customer experience from initial inquiry through machine delivery and follow-up Explain machine features, accessories, software, and educational resources Provide basic machine operation guidance and troubleshooting support What We're Looking For Friendly, professional attitude with strong communication skills Dependable, organized, and team-oriented Sales or customer service experience preferred Basic sewing or quilting knowledge is a plus, but not required—we're happy to train motivated learners Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds independently (team lift required for heavier items) Availability to work some weekends Why Join Us?
