Overview Join our dynamic team as a Budtender and Shift Manager, where your passion for exceptional customer service and leadership will shine! In this energetic role, you will serve as the friendly face guiding customers through their purchasing experience while managing daily store operations. Your expertise in retail sales, inventory management, and team supervision will drive store success and create a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Responsibilities Provide knowledgeable, friendly assistance to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience by offering product recommendations and answering questions about cannabis products and accessories Manage daily store operations during your shift, including opening, closing, and overseeing staff activities to ensure smooth workflow Supervise team members, including training new employees, delegating tasks, and motivating staff to meet sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service Oversee inventory control by conducting stock checks, managing purchasing orders, and ensuring accurate POS (Point of Sale) transactions Handle cash handling duties with accuracy, including balancing registers and processing payments efficiently Maintain compliance with all state regulations related to cannabis sales, record keeping, and safety protocols Support marketing efforts through merchandising displays, promotional activities, and store cleanliness to enhance the customer experience Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales or management roles with supervisory responsibilities; assistant manager experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers and team members; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math principles Leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively and fostering a positive work environment Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations or willingness to learn compliance standards is preferred Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us in shaping an exciting future where your leadership fuels growth and your dedication creates memorable customer experiences.
