Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate and become the friendly face that inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships with customers. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and provide expert advice on products related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, floral design, and gardening. Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about horticulture techniques, and recommend solutions tailored to their projects. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and retail math calculations. Stock shelves efficiently by organizing merchandise, replenishing inventory, and maintaining attractive displays through effective merchandising. Support store organization by managing inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized. Provide excellent customer service by resolving issues promptly, processing returns or exchanges smoothly, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members on store operations such as cashiering duties, stocking tasks, and maintaining a vibrant shopping environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, floral design or gardening is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customers. Basic organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store presentation standards effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves or assisting customers with merchandise.
