Job Summary Join our team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where you'll be the friendly face that welcomes customers and enhances their shopping experience. This energetic role combines cashiering duties with engaging sales responsibilities, ensuring each customer receives exceptional service. You'll handle transactions accurately, promote products through upselling and demos, and maintain a vibrant, organized sales counter. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and purchases Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-maintained Perform cashiering duties including cash handling, processing credit/debit transactions, and balancing registers at shift end Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries Experience Previous retail and cashier experience is preferred, especially in similar retail environment Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential for smooth transaction processing Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers effectively Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction calculations Experience in product demos, merchandising, stocking, and retail math will help you excel in this role This position offers an exciting chance to develop your sales expertise while delivering exceptional service in a lively retail setting.
