Retail Sales Associate - Sewing & Quilting Boxer Craft House Shepherdstown, WV Part-Time About Us Boxer Craft House is a creative and welcoming quilt shop dedicated to inspiring makers of all skill levels. We specialize in quilting fabrics, sewing supplies, classes, embroidery, and creative community events. We're looking for someone who loves sewing and quilting as much as we do and enjoys helping customers bring their projects to life. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate with sewing and/or quilting experience to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a creative environment, and can work independently while keeping the shop running smoothly. Responsibilities Assist customers with selecting fabrics, patterns, notions, and sewing supplies Help customers coordinate fabrics and plan quilting or sewing projects Cut fabric accurately Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions Restock merchandise and maintain an organized sales floor Assist with receiving inventory and daily shop tasks Provide outstanding customer service in a friendly and professional manner Support classes, events, and shop activities as needed Qualifications Sewing and/or quilting experience required Retail or customer service experience preferred Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude Self-starter with the ability to work independently Comfortable standing for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
