Quirk & Quill Retail Store Associate (Full Time or Part Time)

Cody, Wyoming The Opportunity Quirk & Quill is a new store opening in Cody this spring! We're excited to bring a thoughtfully curated selection of stationery, notebooks, writing instruments, tactile crafts, and more to Sheridan Avenue, and we're looking for Store Associates to help bring our store to life! The Store Associate role is centered around creating a warm and welcoming environment for every customer while supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available! The Work Flow This role is a mix of customer interaction, store upkeep, and operational support. Customer Interaction

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store
• Answer questions and provide thoughtful product recommendations
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system Store Upkeep
• Maintain store upkeep and cleanliness throughout the day
• Restock merchandise and support inventory organization
• Assist the Store Manager with visual merchandising and product displays
• Help receive and process new inventory shipments Operational Support
• Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and fellow associates
• Follow opening and closing procedures
• Support day-to-day store operations Qualifications
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Reliable transportation and consistent availability
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed Physical Requirements (Essential Job Functions) Due to the operation and inventory-based nature of this role, the following physical requirements are essential functions of the position:
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds overhead
• Ability to push and pull up to 30 pounds
• Ability to squat while lifting up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand and remain on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift These physical requirements are essential and mandatory and will be verified through a pre-employment physical assessment prior to the start of employment.
