Job Description
Foodland ACE Hardware is seeking an Outdoor Assistant Manager to help lead our outdoor, sporting goods, and hunting departments. If you enjoy working with customers, have knowledge of firearms, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily operations of the Outdoor department Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations Maintain attractive merchandise displays and stocked shelves Support inventory control, ordering, and receiving Help train and guide team members Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable laws regarding firearm sales Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge of firearms and outdoor sporting goods preferred Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently Requirements Must be able to pass a background check Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements for handling and selling firearms
