Overview Join our dynamic team as a PT Retail Key Carrier - Office Max, where your energy and organizational skills will keep our retail operations running smoothly and efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring the security, inventory accuracy, and overall management of store assets, providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a key member of our retail environment, you will play a crucial part in maintaining store safety, managing stock levels, and supporting team members to achieve their best. Responsibilities Manage access control by authorizing entry for employees, vendors, and visitors, ensuring security protocols are followed at all times Oversee inventory management tasks including stocking, merchandising, inventory control, and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels Assist with cashiering duties such as cash handling, POS transactions, pricing adjustments, and customer payments to ensure smooth checkout processes Support store management with shift supervision, team coordination, and training new staff on retail procedures and customer service standards Conduct regular store inspections to uphold safety standards, monitor store cleanliness, and ensure compliance with company policies Handle administrative responsibilities including bookkeeping, payroll processing support, and maintaining organized records of transactions and inventory logs Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives and merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and sales performance Experience Previous experience in retail sales or store management with a focus on inventory control and customer service excellence Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience with strong leadership skills in managing teams and supervising daily operations Proficiency in retail math including pricing strategies, sales management metrics, budgeting basics, and cash handling procedures Multilingual or bilingual abilities preferred to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases and team members Skilled in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing techniques, and training & development practices to foster a motivated workforce Familiarity with POS systems, wireless sales technology, merchandising tools, and store management software is highly desirable Excellent communication skills paired with organizational prowess to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities Join us to be part of a vibrant retail environment where your proactive approach makes a difference every day! Pay:
$18.50 - $19.50 per hour
