  • Pizza Restaurant (Marketing-Focused Role) Birmingham, AL We are looking for a high-energy, sales-driven Assistant Manager to help lead and grow our busy pizza restaurant in Birmingham.
This is not just an operations role—this position is heavily focused on local store marketing, social media marketing, community engagement, and revenue growth . If you know how to drive traffic, build relationships in the community, and increase sales , this is a strong opportunity with a clear path to unit manager, Multi-unit General Manager positions and potential ownership as our franchise development company develops additional pizza franchises throughout the Birmingham Alabama Metro Market. What You'll Do Drive Sales & Local Store Marketing (Primary Focus): Execute local store marketing (LSM) strategies to increase sales and customer frequency Build relationships with schools, offices, churches, apartments, and local businesses Develop and manage catering sales pipelines Plan and execute grassroots promotions, events, and partnerships Manage and grow social media presence and online reputation Identify opportunities to increase repeat business and customer loyalty
Operations & Team Leadership:
Support daily operations including staffing, inventory, food quality, and cleanliness Help recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team Maintain strong cost controls (labor, food, and waste) Ensure excellent customer service and fast, accurate execution Assist in managing POS systems, cash handling, and third-party delivery platforms What We're Looking For Restaurant management experience (pizza/QSR preferred) Proven ability or strong interest in sales building and local marketing Outgoing personality—comfortable in the community, not just behind the counter Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Solid understanding of P&L basics, labor control, and inventory management Self-starter with a sense of urgency and accountability Flexible schedule (nights and weekends may be required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation & Growth Competitive base pay (based on experience) Additional incentives for catering growth and community partnerships Clear path to General Manager and multi-unit leadership Potential ownership opportunity for top performers Who This Role Is Perfect For Someone who: Thinks like a business builder, not just a manager Enjoys being out in the community generating business Wants to grow into a bigger leadership role or ownership
