Fabrication Shop Supervisor

Description

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the fabrication shop.
• Oversee workflow from raw material intake to finished product.
• Assign and manage tasks for fabricators, welders, machinists, and support staff.
• Enforce safety, quality, and production standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet deadlines and resolve production issues.
• Maintain inventory levels and equipment functionality.

• 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, or a related trade
• 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding procedures, and shop equipment
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to enforce safety protocols and quality standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Childersburg, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00
• $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
