Store Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will support the store's daily operations, lead sales initiatives, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, retail management expertise, and the ability to manage inventory, staff, and store performance effectively. The Store Manager will play a vital role in maintaining a positive shopping environment while driving sales growth and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and development Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Support recruitment efforts including interviewing and onboarding new employees Supervise cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering activities Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours Experience Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a grocery or retail environment Strong background in inventory management, merchandising, and sales management Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams and managing staff performance Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and retail math Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and handle customer interactions professionally Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Prior management experience or supervisory experience in a retail setting is preferred Join our team to lead a vibrant retail environment where your leadership will make a difference.
