Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable products or services. Assist customers with retail sales transactions by selecting materials suitable for their homes & design a space they will love. Process transactions efficiently using retail math skills and vendor software to ensure accuracy. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and guiding customers through the sales process. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring product displays are appealing and stocked appropriately. Handle basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, or payments with precision and confidence. Provide estimates on material quantities & installation costs. Experience Prior experience in flooring retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key! Experience with interior design is a plus but not a requirement. Basic math skills including 10-key typing proficiency are essential for accurate transaction processing. Experience with vendor software or point-of-sale systems is a plus but not mandatory. Strong communication skills combined with a customer-first attitude will enable you to thrive in this energetic environment.
