Retail Assistant Manager

About Us We are an established women's clothing boutique in downtown Hot Springs, focused on delivering a personalized shopping experience, curated styles, and a welcoming environment for every customer who walks through our doors. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated Assistant Manager who is willing to learn and grow within the position. Position Overview You'll work closely with ownership/management to learn all aspects of running a successful boutique, from sales and team leadership to merchandising and operations. We are looking for someone who is eager to take initiative, grow in a leadership development position, build a team, and potentially step into a primary management position. Key Responsibilities Support daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures Deliver exceptional customer service and create a strong in-store experience Assist in training, coaching, and motivating team members Drive sales through product knowledge, styling, and client relationships Help manage inventory, merchandising, and visual displays Assist in monitoring store performance and contribute ideas for growth Step into leadership responsibilities in the manager's absence What We're Looking For 1-3+ years of retail experience (preferred but not required) Leadership experience Passion for women's fashion and boutique retail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Natural leadership ability with a desire to grow into a management role Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Quick-learning with technology and point-of-sale systems Sales-driven mindset with a customer-first attitude Willingness to learn all aspects of running a retail business Growth Opportunity This role is designed as a pathway to Store Manager.
