Apply Site Manager Lake Havasu, AZ Apply Description Recently named one of Arizona's Top Workplaces, Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates, P.C. is the largest private Rheumatology practice in the United States. The practice has over 51 providers, 11 sites and over 250 employees providing assessment and treatments for rheumatological, podiatric, and electromyography patients. Our providers work together to keep patients healthy, and are recognized for excellence in medicine and for being pioneers in new treatments, ably supported by our Research department. Our vision is to provide the best Rheumatology care, anywhere and, to balance sustainable operation with the highest possible level of patient care. We are a seeking an ambitious, friendly, positive, and compassionate Site Manger to join our Clinical Operations Team. Our AARA Site Managers plans, coordinates, directs, and monitors the day-to-day activities of each medical department or section assigned, to assure that each area is providing excellent care to patients and customers. The Site Manager utilizes knowledge of best business practices and clinical practice experience to improve efficiency in clinic operations, while aligning with AARA's policies, goals, and objectives. Responsibilities Supervise patient care team and delegate job functions and assignments to ensure adequate staffing levels, making adjustments as necessary. Approve and coordinate time-off such as vacation, personal leave, etc. for all staff and coordinate coverage needs with other Site Managers to utilize all available staff. Interview, hire, train, monitor, evaluate, coach, counsel, discipline, and terminate assigned staff members as needed. Work with C-level employees and Physicians to facilitate oversight and support of any Advanced Practitioners (such as physician assistants, nurse practitioners, etc.), if applicable Verify, process and authorize payroll information for assigned staff, managing payroll costs with appropriate staffing levels in mind, while trying to keep overtime to a minimum. Actively oversee staff performance, to include development of staff by requiring ongoing training, guidance, and continuing education. Facilitate revision to staff job descriptions when necessary. Maintain documentation of current staff certifications, as applicable. Facilitate opportunities for increased revenue to include new services and/or additional locations. Develop, establish, and implement the department/section's operations policies, working with Executives, Directors, Department Heads, Physicians, and Staff to ensure compliance and improve patient services in alignment with Clinic policies. Prepare for and review Site audits to ensure compliance with AARA standards. Participate in ongoing review of existing and proposed changes in standards. Maintain and control the ordering of drugs, supplies, and equipment as well as associated maintenance agreements to ensure the proper working conditions as needed for the operation of the section. Assist with development of departmental budgets, and ensure budgetary compliance of areas within direct control. Develop, install, and monitor appropriate cost control policies to foster budget targets.
