About the
Role:
The Assistant Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the studio and boutique, helping oversee retail, client experience, instructors, vendors, events, and facility presentation. This position works closely with the Director of Operations and ownership team to ensure Desert Bloom operates smoothly and maintains its high standards. Team Leadership & Operations Support and supervise daily studio and retail operations Assist with employee training, coaching, and accountability Help manage staff and shift coverage Ensure policies, procedures, and company standards are followed Lead by example in customer service and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
Support the daily operations of the Pilates studio and boutique retail space Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming client experience Assist with employee training, coaching, scheduling, and team accountability Oversee retail merchandising, inventory management, and sales growth initiatives Coordinate with instructors, vendors, and staff to ensure smooth operations Create basic marketing materials and social media content using Canva Assist with event planning, workshops, and community engagement activities Manage administrative tasks, including emails, scheduling, and reporting Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the studio and boutique Support basic plant care and visual merchandising throughout the space Help drive business growth through strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving Qualifications Required Previous supervisory, management, or leadership experience Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Basic Canva experience creating flyers, social media graphics, and promotional materials Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and take initiative Reliable transportation Preferred Retail management experience Fitness, wellness, hospitality, or boutique retail experience Event planning or vendor management experience Social media content creation experience Familiarity with Mindbody, Mariana Tek, or similar scheduling software Passion for wellness, Pilates, plants, retail, and community-building

Compensation:
$19 per hour to start, $20 when fully trained / 30 hours per week
Store Hours:
Sunday
  • 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday
  • 5:30am to 7:00pm Friday
  • 5:30am to 5:00pm Saturday
  • 7:00am to 5:00pm
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
