The Assistant Fixtures Lead will be tasked with supporting the smooth operation of the Fixtures Department.

The Assistant Lead is responsible for the schedule and completion of fixture cleaning, testing, and updating.

When the Department Lead is not available, the Assistant will assume oversight and delegation of the daily and weekly tasks of the department. This is a high visibility position that requires great attention to detail and a willingness to collaborate thoughtfully with key team members. The Assistant should also be able to support generating accurate forecasts, communicate effectively across departments, and provide constructive feedback regarding process and performance. This is an at-will, full time, non-exempt position. This position will directly report to the Shop Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support the Thursday - Monday shift in Fixtures Department
• Ensure fixtures are processing through department to meet Volt QC standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to safely operate chain hoists for assistive lifting applications
• Ability to pivot priorities and communicate effective plans with in staff
• Moderate computer skills - Google Suite, Slack, Rentalworks(or other common industry asset software)
• Provide leadership and direction to department team members
• Assist with development, documentation, and implementation of standard operating procedures.
• Maintain up to date software on all fixtures.
• Maintain accurate logs on fixture damages & repairs.
• Maintain stock of fixture parts and department supplies.
• Oversee and maintain safe operating procedures.
• Ensure quick and accurate turnover of fixtures.
• Understand show needs on a daily and weekly basis to accurately prioritize tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation Package:

• Hourly rate of $24-27/hr with overtime (1.5x) after 8 hours.
• 40 hours paid time off.†
• 48 hours sick leave.†
• Health, dental, and vision partially covered by employer.
• 401(k): You will be eligible to participate in Volt's 401(k) Safe Harbor plan and a company matching formula of 100% on the first 3% of compensation and 50% on the next 2% of compensation. You can enroll after completing one full year of service. January 1. Any remaining vacation hours will be rolled over to the new year.
• Unused sick hours will go away at the end of year, with a new bank of 48 sick hours available
• Available upon the completion of 1 year of servic

Pay:

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
