Purpose:
As the General Manager you will meet the targets and ensure that procedures are in place, driving them, monitoring, and putting corrective actions in place, when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Security and Shrinkage.
  • Cash desk management.
  • Administration management.
  • Health and Safety.
Sales :
To drive marketing initiatives and sales performance
Hours:
To manage the budget of hours in the store effectively Employee hour management: To design the ideal schedule rotation to ensure all tasks in the store are managed Productivity or cash/unit: To meet the budget, monitor and take corrective actions when necessary Competitor's awareness: To be aware of the current competitors, do competitor shopping and give relevant feedback to appropriate parties such as product managers or regional managers
Budget :
To control stationary, cleaning materials, maintenance, uniforms and travel costs in line with company budgets
Procedure :
To ensure that procedures are in place, driving them, monitoring, and putting corrective actions in place when necessary for all the following: Payroll, HR (ER processes, sickness, and absence management) & recruitment
Skills and Attitudes:
  • Lead by example.
  • To communicate verbally, via email or in writing with Corporative Office, Product Managers, Regional Manager and Commercial Directors.
  • To develop the team through performance reviews and personal development plans with the relevant follow-ups.
  • To ensure that inductions and trainings are carried out for all employees.
  • To manage succession plans in the store (including Company development programs).
  • To ensure that order and replenishment are done timely and effectively, and the stockroom is organized efficiently.
  • To ensure that the store is merchandised according to the Company's standards.
  • To be responsible for customer satisfaction in the store driving and motivating the team.
Requirements:
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in management.
  • Forward planning skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Multitasking.
  • Identifies problems and reacts accordingly with initiative.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Takes ownership of self-development.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Good communication, listening, oral and written skills.
What we offer:
Annual compensation range: $85,000 - $110,000 + discretionary annual bonus
  • Zara, in good faith, believes that this posted rate of compensation is the accurate range for this role at this location at the time of this posting.
This range may be modified in the future. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
