On-site BEARPAW Outlet Store in Citrus Heights, CA is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager for a seasonal contract position supporting our peak selling season and holiday business. This temporary role will run from August through January and is structured as a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity . Permanent employment may be considered if business needs change. The Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, lead and develop the store team, drive sales performance, and ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the busy holiday retail season. Key Responsibilities As Store Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing day-to-day store operations Leading, coaching, and developing store associates Driving sales and achieving store performance goals Delivering exceptional customer service Managing inventory control, merchandising, and visual presentation Supporting scheduling and staffing needs during peak retail periods Reviewing sales performance and helping the team meet business objectives Maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Previous retail management experience, preferably at the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager level Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills Experience with sales reporting, inventory control, retail operations, and scheduling Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment Flexibility to work weekends, major holidays, and peak selling periods as needed Compensation & Schedule This position offers $20-$24 per hour , based on experience. The expected schedule is 30-40+ hours per week , with availability required during weekends, major holidays, and peak retail periods.
