We are looking for someone who excels at management and leadership. This position will be essential to the success of our Service Department by driving sales and leading a professional and knowledgeable team focused on providing great customer service and high-quality HVAC repairs and installations.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing team of HVAC Technicians and Comfort Advisors. This includes recruiting, ongoing training and development, maintaining trained backups in key positions, recognizing and rewarding individual and team accomplishments, and actively working to remove barriers to the team's success. Expand sales through innovation and marketing. This includes identifying new opportunities, developing and implementing marketing strategies and building and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships. Provide excellent customer service by delivering timely and high-quality work. This includes optimizing scheduling and workloads, addressing customer concerns, cultivating a climate of high performance and accountability, and monitoring performance to ensure work is completed to the highest standards. Proactively manage the budget to identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase profits. This includes reviewing department trends, tracking expenses, forecasting revenue, and ensuring that the department meets revenue goals and stays within budget. Monitor department performance and communicate findings with senior management. This includes tracking performance metrics, identifying new trends, developing and implementing plans to improve performance, and establishing measures to show progress towards goals. Develop and implement new procedures. This includes finding ways to improve efficiency and overall operations, minimize expenses, and improve customer satisfaction. Stay up-to-date on industry trends. This includes reading trade publications, attending industry events, and networking with other service managers. Contribute to the success of the company. This position will also work proactively to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
Requirements:
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Minimum 3-5 years in management position Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Strong sales and marketing skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Superior customer service skills Exceptional problem solving skills Experience in the service and/or HVAC industry is a plus
