One interview only About the Position We are urgently seeking a Store Manager for a small matcha dessert and café kiosk located inside Serramonte Center in Daly City, CA. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on management experience in a café, dessert shop, boba shop, fast food, or other food and beverage environment. The Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, lead the team, maintain product and service quality, and support smooth store performance. Candidates who are interested in Japanese culture, matcha, Japanese sweets, or café-style hospitality are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth workflow Manage staff scheduling, training, and supervision Support hiring, onboarding, and development of team members Maintain product quality, customer service standards, and food safety compliance Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control Monitor sales, store performance, and operational efficiency Ensure the kiosk is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times Communicate with management regarding store needs, staffing, sales, and operational updates Help the team meet store goals and provide a positive customer experience Handle customer inquiries or issues professionally and promptly Qualifications Minimum 1 year of store management experience in food and beverage required Experience in a café, dessert shop, boba shop, fast food, or similar environment preferred Ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff Basic knowledge of inventory control, ordering, food safety, and daily store operations Food Handler Card or ServSafe certification required Valid work authorization in the U.S. required Interest in Japanese culture, matcha, or Japanese sweets preferred Japanese/English bilingual skills are a plus, but not required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is responsible, hands-on, organized, and comfortable managing a small kiosk-style store.
