Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead the operations of our Matcha REN location. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for operational excellence. As a Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind creating a welcoming environment that delights customers and fosters team growth. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the store team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals. Oversee food preparation, ensuring all products meet quality standards and safety regulations. Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, receiving, and storage to minimize waste and optimize costs. Supervise daily operations using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Conduct staff training, coaching, and development to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures. Maintain compliance with food safety standards, health regulations, and sanitation protocols across all areas of the store. Manage scheduling, shift management, and ensure proper staffing levels for smooth store operations. Support kitchen management by overseeing food production processes and ensuring consistency in product quality. Implement best practices in hospitality management to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff alike. Assist with interviewing prospective team members and participate in hiring decisions to build a strong team. Monitor budget adherence and contribute to cost control initiatives to maximize profitability. Skills Proven experience in restaurant or food service management with supervising responsibilities. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Experience in managing inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis within a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform financial reconciliation tasks. Knowledge of hospitality management principles including shift management and team supervision. Background in culinary arts or food industry roles such as barista or catering is highly desirable. Strong communication skills paired with the ability to interview candidates confidently.
