Role:
As the Assistant Property Supervisor , you'll support the Property Manager with the day-to-day operations of a residential community. Your role is to help maintain high occupancy levels, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide outstanding service to residents and prospects. You'll play a key role in coordinating leasing, maintenance, and administrative activities that keep our property running smoothly. This is not an on-site living position.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Operations & Oversight Assist with daily property management functions, ensuring the community is clean, safe, and well-maintained. Conduct regular property walks and report maintenance or safety issues promptly. Support enforcement of community rules and regulations. Leasing & Marketing Assist with marketing available units, scheduling tours, and showing apartments to prospective residents. Process rental applications, prepare lease documents, and support renewal efforts. Keep online listings and advertising up to date with accurate pricing and availability. Resident Relations Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to resident inquiries and concerns. Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, inspections, and lease compliance. Support resident retention by fostering a welcoming and responsive community atmosphere. Maintenance Coordination Receive, log, and follow up on maintenance requests to ensure timely completion. Communicate with maintenance staff and vendors as needed to resolve issues efficiently. Administrative & Financial Support Maintain organized digital records including leases, notices, and maintenance logs. Support rent collection efforts, assist with posting payments, and track delinquencies. Prepare reports and assist with budget monitoring and invoice processing. Compliance & Standards Uphold fair housing laws, company policies, and local/state housing regulations. Ensure all documentation and procedures meet company and legal standards.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in property management, leasing, or a related administrative role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus. Knowledge of fair housing laws and property management best practices. Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience with property management software preferred (Yardi, AppFolio, etc.). Bilingual in Spanish required. Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment. Comfortable working with Class C properties and knowledgeable about the unique needs and challenges associated with these communities
Compensation & Benefits:
