Our ideal Dispensary Manager will assist the General Manager with day-to-day operations at the retail level. The Dispensary Manager helps maintain organization and lends support to all aspects of retail operations from reception to inventory. The Dispensary Manager oversees the flow of the shop, delegates tasks to budtenders and front desk, intakes product deliveries, manages inventory, addresses customer service concerns, and holds their team accountable. This also includes cash-handling, training, providing policy and procedure updates, keeping up to date with industry news and product information.OPERATIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supporting the General Manager and the rest of the retail staff. Monitors product inventory via METRC/Treez & employee point of sale transactions via Treez. Assists the General Manager with overseeing and training Front Desk, Budtenders, Keyholders, and Inventory Associates. Establishes methods to make sure all staff are remaining compliant with all state and local rules and regulations in regards to cannabis sales. Analyzes inventory data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement. Upholds the policies and procedures for the return of cannabis products, the storage and/or disposal of such products, and meeting reporting requirements for adverse events and product recall. Serves as a role model, liaison, and resource for the dispensary staff regarding cannabis products and services, policies and procedures, industry news and changes in regulations. Responds to all staff questions, concerns or suggestions within scope; and reports to GM for resolution or support. Supports the General Manager in conducting performance reviews with employees and monitors employee productivity, attitudes, and performance results. Assist the General Manager with interviewing candidates for open positions. Oversees all POS registers by ensuring cash handling accuracy from Budtenders, counting the registers at the end of their shifts, and completing accurate cash drops. Provides superior customer service for vendors, patient/customers, and caregivers Responds to patient/customer complaints, requests, concerns, suggestions and takes proper action to resolve issues. Performs inventory control actions such as receiving, intaking, overnight counts, and quality/compliance inspections as well as resolves all inventory discrepancies. Maintains records required by law and ensures quality assurance plans, including but not limited to plans to detect, identify, and prevent dispensing errors related to product packaging and labeling. Oversees and documents all inventory movements to be recorded in the company's and state's track and trace system (METRC) to identify the proper location and quantity of product at all times. Assists with overseeing supply orders and deliveries to ensure accurate ordering information and timeliness of deliveries. Responsible for understanding and comprehending cannabis education as well as open to learning more through personal development. Assist General Manager with bi-weekly payroll processing and scheduling; assigns timely breaks and lunches to the staff.NECESSARY ABILITIES
2+ years of experience managing a retail operation, cannabis industry experience strongly preferred. Demonstrate management and leadership skills in a high growth environment. Excellent and effective consulting, conflict management, interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills. Solid management reporting, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional leadership skills, including: listening,training, and coaching. Strong project management and time management skills. Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare written reports, correspondence, and presentations to senior management as required. Ability to build and maintain positive and healthy relationships with subordinates, vendors, and upper management in order to gain support and achieve results both internally and externally. Ability to practice discernment, exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with confident and functional leadership. Complies with all aspects of the company's Employee Handbook.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Be at least 21 years of age. A professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check/LiveScan. Must have a bachelor's degree. Proficiency in point-of-sale cashier systems with the ability to perform general mathematical calculations and have cash handling skills. Must be able to individually lift up to 50lbs.
