Assistant Store Manager - UPS Store UPS Store Fallbrook, CA Job Details Full-time $19 - $21 an hour 4 days ago Qualifications Bilingual Packing Team development Packaging Retail management Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Assist the Center Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Deliver exceptional customer service across all store offerings such as shipping, printing, packaging, and mailbox rentals. Resolve customer complaints professionally and educate customers on available services. Monitor store expenses, contribute to weekly and monthly performance reports, and support efforts to meet sales goals. Responsibilities Open and close the store following company procedures Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees Schedule shifts and manage time-off requests Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members Foster a positive, productive work environment Deliver exceptional service across all store offerings: shipping, printing, mailbox rentals, packaging, and more Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary Educate customers on available services and upsell when appropriate Help manage store budget, expenses, and cost controls Contribute to weekly and monthly performance reports for the franchise owner Support efforts to meet sales goals and improve profitability Promote store services to local businesses and community organizations Identify opportunities for growth and suggest improvements to the Center Manager Participate in marketing initiatives and community outreach Qualifications Notary Certification and UPS experience is a plus Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances service delivery to diverse clientele. Experience in retail management, sales management, or team management Knowledge of bookkeeping practices, payroll systems, and inventory control is beneficial. Proficiency in retail math, merchandising, pricing strategies, and cash handling Energetic and team-oriented Detail-focused and organized Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Motivated to contribute to business growth and customer satisfaction Excellent verbal and written communication Tech-savvy with experience in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite Professional demeanor and appearance Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
