Fontana Position Summary:

The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a high-volume auto detail shop. This role manages a team of 15-20 employees and ensures efficiency, quality control, safety compliance, and productivity across multiple production lines. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on operations experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead 20-45 detail shop employees across multiple operational lines such as: Wash Bays Drying Lanes Tire Cleaning Lanes Window Cleaning Lanes Vacuum Lanes Quality Control (QC) Ensure daily production goals and quality standards are consistently met Monitor staffing levels and adjust assignments based on volume and operational needs Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and efficiency Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Conduct performance evaluations and provide corrective coaching when necessary Coordinate with upper management on operational improvements and staffing needs Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Operations Lead, Production Lead, or similar supervisory role Experience managing 15-20 employees in a fast-paced, production-driven environment Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Ability to multitask and manage multiple production lines simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a physically active environment (standing, walking, overseeing floor operations)

Pay:

$22.00 per hour
